The brief

Open the ground floor, private the upper level, resolve the plot around the pool.

The owners bought a well-located villa in The Meadows whose interior no longer matched the way the family lived. The ground floor was cellular and closed off from the garden, the kitchen was tucked out of sight, and the upstairs bathrooms were tired. The brief to UNO Home was to reimagine the villa as a warm-minimal family home, one, resolved material palette across every room, and to re-landscape the plot around a refreshed pool.

What we did

A full renovation, structure, services and finishes, coordinated by UNO Home.

We reconfigured the ground floor into a single travertine-and-oak volume, kitchen, dining and living flowing together and opening to the garden through full-height sliding glass. A new floating stair in stone and warm oak, with a frameless glass balustrade and continuous backlight, replaces the old partitioned core.

Upstairs, bathrooms were rebuilt in Calacatta Viola marble with brushed-brass fittings, arched niches and backlit mirrors. The kitchen centres on a bespoke waterfall island in patterned marble, integrated appliances, and warm oak joinery. MEP, lighting design and smart controls were re-engineered end-to-end. Outside, the pool was refreshed and the garden re-planted around new hardscape.

The result

One villa, one material language, one coordinated delivery.

A calm, warm-minimal family villa with a resolved material palette, travertine, warm oak, honed stone, Calacatta Viola and brushed brass, an open ground floor, a private upper level, and a fully re-landscaped garden. Coordinated and delivered by UNO Home, from structural works to the final brass fixing.
